Please don't forget the boys! About 1/4 of the rise is boys and that's a lot of boys (34 in the UK in 2009 and 557 in 2016....). It's all bad!

The AAP's change of position is the first step to sweeping this under the rug. Remember COVID? Remember the lack of accountability for lockdowns? There's your playbook.

2024: "AAP expert panels have always used their best judgement as practicing pediatricians to create standards of care that would lessen suicidal ideation in trans children. Current data makes it clear that, in some cases, the risks of puberty blockers and cross sex hormones may exceed the benefits they provide."

2025: "We have never required physicians to dispense cross-sex hormones off label. Our panels only ever created recommendations. Your individual treating physician always had the final say in how to best treat their patients."

2026: "The AAP recommends against the use of cross-sex hormones and puberty blockers for teens except in the most extreme cases of gender dysphoria."

2027: "The AAP stands firmly against experimental treatments of all kinds for teenagers, especially for the most vulnerable teens who are gender dysphoric."

2028: "We've always opposed puberty blockers for teens."

Yeah. Right. And we've always been at war with Eastasia.

This, of course, is the path required to prevent the powerful (who have all pushed this crap) from ever facing responsibility for their behavior. Sorry we created a generation of eunuchs, but we meant well.

The gender cult will eventually be brought to heel by detransitioner mass/class action law suits. It's the American way. It has to be litigated.

I believe that the discussion pediatricians should be having with kids who think they want to try to medically change their sex traits is to ask them which sex they are attracted to, and get them to think about what path gives them the best chance of success in finding love with whom they want to find it.

At 18:00 Mason describes how early in her career one of her patients was a masculine girl who fit the classic definition of dysphoria, having called herself a boy from when she could first speak. Mason sent the girl to specialists, and she ended up medically transitioning, but later ran into the problem that every girlfriend she managed to find ended up leaving her for a real boy.

So she was attracted to girls. If only someone had told her when she was young that that made her a lesbian, and that as a lesbian she could be with other females who are also attracted to females. If only she hadn't tried to change her sex, she could've been with those lesbian women. She could have been with who she was attracted to.

Now that she has a beard, there's no one who will want to be with her. The men who would have been attracted to her will no longer be attracted to her. The women who would have been attracted to her (the lesbian women), will no longer be attracted to her.

This is the situation that is faced by ALL people who are considering trying to medically change their sex. They will lose their attractiveness to all of the people who could have been attracted to them.

The case of a boy who somehow feels like a girl, if it is boys he is attracted to that makes him a homosexual, and there is a very substantial community of other homosexual men that he could engage with, but not if he chemically or surgically castrates himself.

Gays are all about the dick. If he gets rid of that part he is cutting himself off from all of his natural partners.

The same if he is heterosexual (if he is one of these cross-dressing heterosexuals who is attracted to women and somehow transfers that into an attraction to the thought of himself as a woman). If they try to medically turn themselves into women, then the heterosexual women who would have wanted them will no longer want them, and they end up angry that the lesbian women don't want them either.

Dude, if you wanted to be with a woman all you had to do is remain a man. Anyone who transitions is cutting them self off from all of their natural partners. That's the same whether they are homosexual or heterosexual. The people who could have wanted them will no longer want them.

Nobody wants a bearded woman, not a heterosexual man and not a lesbian woman. Nobody wants a man without a dick, not a heterosexual woman and not a gay man.

If these kids are just asked about their sexual orientation, then it could be explained to them that to be with who they want to be with they have to stay as they are.

It is a steep hill to climb with the average public reading biased and uncritical articles like this: https://www.vice.com/en/article/k7znqe/california-transgender-school-board-forced-outing. ( How can you call it "outing" if everyone in the school obviously knows except the parents? I call that lying on the part of the administrators. )

Eventually, we'll find that the medical establishment pushing these procedures were motivated by the same impulses as those pushing injecting an experimental liquid into the veins of hundreds of millions of people, including children. It was the money.

How many parents would be ok with their sons wearing jewelry and dresses to school and NOT identifying as a girl, just as a boy who wants more choice in attire?

Great interview. One quibble, Risperdal was studied in children with "behavior disorder." There was at least one randomized trial: https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/nejmoa013171.

I do not think the FDA every approved it, however, so many may agree it does not have a positive risk benefit.

There is no such thing as a 'trans' child--it is an invention, a cover for cross-dressing males w/ a sexual fetish, autogynephiles/transvestic fetishists, often heterosexual men. https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-1-4614-5182-2_7

Those cross-dressing men are a different and distinct cohort from the kids who don't conform to sex-role stereotypes, 'tomboy' girls, and 'girly' boys, who often grow up to just be lesbian or gay. These sex-nonconforming kids are not 'trans' and require no damaging 'transitioning' to be 'authentic'--they are fine the way they are in the bodies they were born into. We have known about these kids for eons and we know if allowed to go through puberty and reach teenhood most settle into their bodies and grow out of any distress they may or may not have--just leave them alone to grow up unmedicalized.

The interview at the link below is w/ the author (Helen Joyce) of the book, 'Trans: When Ideology Meets Reality,' in which she discusses who the men are who have pushed 'transgender identity' throughout Western culture and why they needed to invent the 'trans child.' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xUrtNW6Fzo&t=664s
